A prosthetist, Paul Leimkuehler attended Miami University’s Farmer School of Business. He made the dean’s list and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing prior to gaining admission into the prosthetics and orthotics program at Northwestern University. While pursuing certification in both fields, he gained firsthand experience designing and fitting thermoplastic orthoses and carbon fiber prostheses for underserved patients through the Range of Motion Project, hosted by the university’s Prosthetics-Orthotics Center in Guatemala. Paul Leimkuehler completed residency programs at Leimkuehler Orthotic and Prosthetic Center, Inc and the Center for Orthotics Prosthetic Excellence, LLC.
In 2015, Mr. Leimkuehler joined the team at Prosthetic Orthotic Solutions International as a prosthetist. His knowledge in microprocessor knees and ankles, subischial and elevated vacuum designs, and running style prostheses makes it possible for him to restore mobility in patients living with amputated limbs and other conditions. Ensuring he delivers the highest quality of service, Paul Leimkuehler regularly attends conferences that keep him informed of modern technologies and practices impacting his field.
